Greater Community AIDS Project, Uniting Pride of Champaign County, and the University YMCA are hosting a screening of United in Anger: A History of ACT-UP at the Y on Monday, November 27th at 6 p.m. The free screening is in honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st.

From the event description:

Let’s come together to learn, to mourn, to engage, to remember those who were lost, and to honor the way we have moved forward because of the determined activists who fought so hard when those in power were doing nothing. We truly believe this film is a must-see for all.

Y Thai will be providing free food for the event.
