I don’t do the sweet coffee drinks that much anymore; it’s taken years of weaning myself off of sugar and flavoring and half and half and such. However, every once in a while, I make an exception and treat myself.
This time of year, it usually comes in the form of a peppermint mocha. Typically, I take the lazy route of swinging through the drive thru of a well known national coffee chain to snag one, but now I may be ruined forever by this version right here at Café Kopi.
It’s chocolate-y and peppermint-y in just the right amounts, and the crushed candy cane atop the whipped cream is a delightful bonus. It made me very happy on this cold snowy day.
