By the time I make it to Friday night, I am done with all the things. Cooking is just not going to happen, and most of the time I don’t even want to leave my house to acquire food. I love pizza on a Friday night, but many of my favorites won’t deliver here.
I often forget about D.P. Dough, but a few weeks ago on a yuck-o weather sort of evening, I had a hankering. They delivered this delightful pocket of cheesy pepperoni goodness — with garlic parmesan crust obviously — to me (bless delivery drivers on yuck-o weather days). I would’ve spent a lot of money here had they been on campus when I was at U of I. Instead those dollars went to Gumby’s (RIP).
Could I have saved half of this for lunch the next day? Yes. Did I? Absolutely not.
