Do you remember this longrunning magazine show that ran on WILL? It debuted in 1992, and ran until 2010, and featured profiles of people and places in downstate Illinois, as well as music performances.
Prairie Fire will be returning to the airwaves in a re-imagined form beginning May 18th at 7:30 p.m. The premiere episode will feature Paralympic medalist and Boston Marathon winner Susannah Scaroni, Stango Cuisine owner Mubanga Chanda, and American Idol finalist and Normal native Leah Marlene. Marlene also recorded the theme song for this season of the show.
The series will air on the third Thursday of the month WILL-TV, and will be available on demand on YouTube and PBS Online.
