New York’s Steve Layman has a new album out, and it’s called Hope is All We Have. This is the very first stop on his pretty lengthy tour he has coming his way, and he’s joined by Old Fox Road, Philiphobia and Jack Johnson. Old Fox Road was in town at the end of September for their performance at Error Records, which was a show that was a late add to Pygmalion Music Festival 2013.

Champaign-Urbana hip hop emcee Young Blu is putting out his debut album on Wednesday night at the Highdive. Really great show lined up on Friday night with a band who recently made a visit to C-U for Pygmalion 2013. Trio On An On bring their anthemic rock tones back to Champaign for a show this week at Mike ‘N Molly’s. Their full-length debut Give In is really something, and it’s worth listening to before heading out to this one. They’re joined by Savoir Adore and locals the 92s to round things out.
