The traveling holiday show A Magical Cirque Christmas is coming to the Virginia Theatre this December. Although the show will be performed in more than thirty cities across the country this season, there is a special connection to Champaign. The tour manager, Charles Miericke, grew up in White Heath, and is a graduate of the University of Illinois. He previously also worked at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
A Magical Cirque Christmas is a holiday variety show with “awe-inspiring performances” set to holiday music and full of “nostalgia and charm.” The show is suitable for all ages, but you should get your tickets soon if you don’t want to miss out.
