Anti-Human Trafficking film “Call + Response” – FREE Admission

Hear the call. Be the response.

Who has the potential to discover a human trafficking victim? You!

Many believe that slavery ended in the 1800s or that it only happens in other countries. The reality is there are more slaves in the world today than at any other time in history. And these exploited victims, foreign and domestic, are starting to surface in Midwest communities similar to ours.

Join us as we watch “Call + Response”. A film about a musician’s response to the issue of Human Trafficking, giving us a glimpse into what modern day slavery looks like.

Since many trafficking victims are hidden right in front of us, this global problem requires a community-based solution. Our group, Bound No More, will be hosting an informal reception after the documentary at West Side Park. This reception will serve as a place to discuss and ask questions about the documentary and human trafficking in general. We will also be providing information about how to identify and report potential trafficking situations in our community.

We welcome those just beginning to learn about this issue as well as those justice-minded individuals interested in joining together to fight human trafficking in our community.
