On Friday, December 15th at 7:30 p.m., Illinois Public Media and The Arthouse Experience at the Virginia Theatre are presenting one hour of the four hour documentary The Black Church: This is Our Story, This is Our Song. Following will be a gospel performance by Davion Williams, and a panel discussion moderated by Illinois Public Media’s Kim Kranich. The panel will feature:
- Professor Leonard McKinnis, University of Illinois Department of Religion
- Apostle Charlotte Blissit, True Pentecost Christian Church
- Rev. Terrance Thomas, Bethel AME Church
- Jeff Trask, founder, Champaign County Christian Health Center
