Champaign’s Bearology bubble tea shop looks like it will be hibernating forever. Located on the first floor of the Latitude Apartment building, the boba cafe’s signage is down, and Bearology’s online list of locations no longer lists Champaign. Prior to Bearology, the space was home to Hammerhead Coffee, which opened in 2016 and closed in 2019.
Even with Bearology’s closure on University Avenue, there is no shortage of boba in C-U.
