On October 29th, the Illini men’s basketball team will take on the Kansas Jayhawks. This game will mark head coach Bill Self’s first visit to the State Farm Center since leaving the Illini in 2003 to coach Kansas. The game will be a fundraiser for those affected by the deadly Maui wildfires the proceeds raising money Hawaii Community Foundation Maui Strong Fund. The game had originally been scheduled as a private scrimmage game and will now be a pre-season exhibition game. It will air on the big ten network.
