Our local music scene is in for a treat as two prominent artists, Cole Bridges and Christy Hays, are scheduled to perform at the Loose Cobra in Tolono this Sunday.

Christy Hays is an established singer-songwriter with origins in Tuscola, IL. Hays’ musical journey has seen her touring extensively and producing albums that have garnered critical acclaim. She will be performing alongside her pedal steel player, Ben Pickett. Notably, their performance at the Loose Cobra concludes their series of shows where they have been the opening act for the Americana artist, Margo Cilker.

Accompanying her on the lineup is Cole Bridges, once a ten-year resident of the Urbana-Champaign area, now residing in St. Louis, MO. This event serves as a notable return to his roots, as he reunites with his former ensemble, The Overpass. The band has ties to various active groups within the local music community, including the Clayton Burke Band, the Landovers, Tractor Kings, Ant Hattie, Dad Pride & the Eastside Five, among others.
