Get ready to dance and groove in Campustown this Saturday as Street Fest is making its debut in Campustown on September 9th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., right in front of Jip Bap at 601 S Sixth Street. Presented by the City of Champaign and JSM Living, this jam-packed afternoon promises live music, high-energy street performances, and a community zone featuring local businesses and artists. From funk and jazz to indie and hip-hop, the main stage will be alive with a symphony of sounds that span genres. The event is for all-ages, so bring the family.
You may also feast your senses at Chowdown in Campustown, a $5 Food and Drink Walk that lets you explore a global array of delicious bites and beverages. Pick up a menu at the info booth or any participating restaurant, and for every $5 bite you purchase, you’ll get a stamp. Collect four stamps chance to win amazing prizes.
