Friday Night Live is back tonight, Friday June 9th! The downtown Champaign event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring incredible local street-side music. Here is the lineup for this week:

Market & Taylor Stage:

6 p.m. Haki N Dem – R&B/soul
7 p.m. New Souls – soul/R&B/funk/90s

Neil & Park Stage:

6 p.m. John Coppess & the Limping Cowboy Band – country, folk & cowboy music
7 p.m. The Kurt Reeder ORGANization – hard bop organ soul jazz

Neil & Church (One Main Plaza) Stage:

6 p.m. The Young and the Fretless – bluegrass
7 p.m. The Nightcaps – classic rock/pop featuring dangerous female harmonies

In addition to the fantastic music lineup, there was a special weekly kids’ activity sponsored by Busey Bank, featuring balloon twisting by Aaron’s Party Balloons.

Friday Night LIVE is a free street-side performance series presented by 40 North and supported by local businesses and government. It takes place every Friday from June to August, featuring a diverse range of musical genres including bluegrass, jazz, folk, soul, rock, country, and blues, as well as weekly free kids’ activities.
