The Gies College of Business will offer tax help for low-income (less than $60,000 annually), elderly, disabled, or limited English speaking taxpayers from now until the April tax deadline. Led by Instructor of Accountancy Madi Alt, trained graduate students will prepare taxes for free. These students are interested in tax, have tax experience, and/or have come highly recommended by their instructors. They are trained through the IRS VITA program and will be supported by other Gies faculty. Participants will be seen on a first come first serve basis and will need to bring all required tax forms and an ID. Additional information can be found on the GIES website.
