Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is planning for 2024-2025 builds. If home buying is out of reach for you, and you’re interested in being considered, you can apply to be a part of their homebuyer program. The application period will last until 5 p.m. on July 17th. There are two ways to apply:

  • Online at the Habitat website
  • By picking up a paper application at Champaign County Restore, and returning it to Restore, or mailing it (postmarked on or before July 17th)

You can find the criteria that needs to be met to qualify on the Habitat website. Those who apply but don’t end up being chosen this time around, will have the opportunity to work with Habitat to be ready for the next round.

Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County recently surpassed 30 years of building homes in the area. As of April of 2023, they’ve completed 124 homes for families in Champaign County.
