March is Transit Employee Appreciation Month, and MTD is asking community members to show some love. You can bring a handwritten card or note to the customer service desk at Illinois Terminal that offers thanks and/or words of encouragement. This can also be a fun project for your kiddos. They are encouraged to draw picture of an MTD bus or their favorite operator.
Submission will be accepted through March 20th, then they will be displayed in the employee break room. I imagine this sort of work can be tough sometimes, but accessible public transportation is so vital to the health of our community.
Oh and as a bonus, you’ll get a fun hydrogen bus toy (pictured above).
