Have you been to Lodgic Everyday Community yet? In addition to workspace (and childcare), there is a cafe and a restaurant.
The Clever Moose Cafe has hot and cold grab and go items if you’re in a hurry. There are also smoothies and juices available. Food prices range from $5 to $11, which is an affordable lunch, and the breakfast menu is available all day (!). I recently sampled a few of the menu items, and was generally impressed with what I ate. If you haven’t been yet, stop by for lunch. It’s good, it’s affordable, and the employees are very friendly.
Bacon, egg + cheddar sandwich, $5
As a self-proclaimed breakfast sandwich expert, I can say that this one is top notch, thanks to the tomato jam.
Savory chorizo waffle, $8
Two people could easily share this dish, and at $8, it’s a steal for all the ingredients (chorizo, egg, avocado).
Zucchini fries, $4; Chicken Crunchers $9
This grown up take on chicken fingers and fries is great. Dare I even say that those chicken strips were some of the best I’ve had in a very long time? I do.
Immune Booster (orange, grapefruit, lemon, ginger, cayenne pepper) $3.5/$5
This is the best combo for healthy juices; this one isn’t too ginger- or cayenne-forward, so it’s very drinkable.
