Thursday, August 10th, will be the last movie on the Quad, as students will begin to move next week. If you missed your opportunity to see the live action The Little Mermaid, here is your chance. It’s free, and will begin at 9 p.m. The Quad Shop will be open until 10 p.m. for snacks and drinks, or you can bring your own.
If you get there earlier in the evening, the Illini Union is joining with Chambanamoms for Summer’s Last Hurrah, and will have some family activities on the Quad from 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be free bowling shoe rental in the Rec Room.
Get to campus even earlier, and you could grab some campustown food during the last week of quiet time. Jess had some great suggestions in our last Weekender.
