Opened yesterday in Campustown, J6 Kitchen serves a fast-casual menu of kimbap, ramen, dumplings, steamed buns, topokki, and Korean hot dogs. Soon the corner shop will expand the menu to include teriyaki chicken, spicy pork kimchi, egg bomb rice, budae (a spicy stew), champong (a noodle soup), and more.
Take a look at the menu for the new restaurant at the corner of Sixth Street and John.
Previously, the space was home to Tacool Tacos, which served delicious steak tacos in addition to other Mexican food; Tacool Tacos now permanently closed. Before it was Tacool, it was J6 Food Mart, a corner store selling bottled drinks in addition to steamed buns, Korean fried chicken, poke tuna, and spring rolls in the space that used to be That’s Rentertainment.
Currently, there are no operating hours posted for the new restaurant, but when I walked by last night, the restaurant was still serving dinner, so J6 Kitchen is at least open until 6 p.m. during the week.
