U of I alum and independent journalist Terrell Jermaine Starr is giving a talk at the Campus Instructional Facility Auditorium on April 19th at 7:30 p.m. Starr was in Ukraine at the beginning of the Russian invasion, and gave updates via his Twitter account. He has master’s degrees in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Center Studies and Journalism from the University, and is the founder and host of the Black Diplomats podcast.
The Q&A style event is part of a broader Illinois Global Institute series, “Russia’s War on Ukraine: An IGI Series on Global Responsibilities.”
