On February 19th, The Land Connection and I-Regen will be hosting Building Community Food Webs, a discussion on how to build more equitable local food systems. Ken Meter, a food systems analyst who wrote a book of the same name, will be presenting these at Turner Hall at 6:30 p.m. There will be a reception prior to the presentation, beginning at 5:30 p.m. From the event page:

In Building Community Food WebsKen Meter shows how grassroots food and farming leaders across the U.S. are tackling these challenges by constructing civic networks. Overturning extractive economic structures, these inspired leaders are engaging low-income residents, farmers, and local organizations in their quest to build stronger communities.
