Community Foundation of East Central Illinois does this really cool program every year that nurtures emerging non-profit organizations in the area. Organizations like MakerGirl, Prairie Dragon Paddlers, and DREAAM are some that have gone through the program in the past. Here is what the Community Solutions Incubator provides:
- 5 educational seminars to help you start and grow your nonprofit organization
- 1:1 mentoring with experienced community professionals
- Free training and resources through CFECI’s Center for Nonprofit Excellence
- Access to a well-resourced co-working space at CFECI
- Connections to our growing incubator alumni group
- Micro-grant upon successful completion of the incubator program (pending funding availability)
In preparation for 2024, they are holding a virtual information session on December 13th from noon to 1 p.m. for anyone who might be interested in participating the next time around. You will be able to hear from someone who has been through the incubator, and learn how to apply for the 2024 cohort. Register here to attend the session.
