Common Ground Food Co-op

On December 9th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Common Ground Food Co-op is offering an American-Jewish cooking class in person in their Flatlander Classroom. In the demonstration-based class you’ll learn to make matzo ball soup, salmon lox bagels, and latkes from none other than Smile Politely publisher Seth Fein. Yes, I’m promoting a class taught by the person in charge of this magazine. However, I have been fortunate enough to try two of three of these items made from his family’s recipes, and I confidently say you will want to get in on this class.

It will be a small group — just 12 spots are available, so grab one now if you’re interested. There will be a waitlist once it sells out. Tickets are $50 per person.

You can find a list of all of their upcoming cooking classes, virtual and in-person, on their website.
