Look, December is a busy month. Over the years I have taken various tasks off of my list that were just consuming too much of my time (ahem sending holiday cards). Maybe one of your tedious tasks is wrapping presents.

Thankfully, Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County does a marvelous service every year, where they will wrap all of your presents for you for a donation to their work. And of course, their work is helping people in our community achieve home ownership. Definitely a worthy cause.

They will be set up at Marketplace Mall beginning Saturday, December 16th, through Sunday, December 24th. Yes, you can even do this last minute! You’ll find the full schedule and hours on the Habitat website.

If you love gift wrapping (I know there are some of you out there!) and are looking for a service opportunity to do with your family or a group you are involved with, they are still in need of some wrapping volunteers. You can sign up for a shift online.
