Watson’s has tasty wraps for Friday lunch

Recently, Watson’s Shack & Rail reduced their weekday lunch services to just Fridays, but they added a new lunch menu just for that day with some tasty new options. Now you can get some of their signature sandwiches as wraps: Watson’s Hot, Buffalo Starchild, Classic Chicken, and Popcorn Tofu. I do love a wrap, so I tried the Classic Chicken last week.

It’s a simple item — fried chicken tenders with lettuce, pickles, and herbed mayo, but it was delicious. The thing I appreciate about wraps is that they allow the filling to take center stage, and they just seem a little less heavy then something with a bun.

You can choose wedges, coleslaw, dirty rice, mac n’ cheese, or mashed potatoes and gravy as your side, and all together it’s $15.

They also have a blackened salmon salad on the Friday lunch menu, as well as $5 drafts and Protect Ya Nectar slushes. And don’t worry, the regular menu is also available as well, so if you just have to have that rice bowl it’s there for you.
