Last September, Urbana Public Arts hosted a juried exhibition of local artists at the Civic Center. It was a great chance to meet and speak with people who make quality art in our town, as well as a chance to buy lamps I don’t need.
(They are so cool, tho.)
In fact, if you’ve been following Jimena’s series WorkSpace, many of the artists we started with were people that connected to us through the Urbana Arts Expo.
So if you want a chance to get in on a show with limited space and a discerning eye, head over to the Expo’s website to complete your application and submission before August 1st, 2016.
