Mack’s Twin City Recycling is matching donations for the 10 year old shooting victim

Sometimes good things come out of terrible things. Or, maybe when terrible things happen we are reminded that there are good people out there.

Last week, on Thanksgiving, a building was destroyed by a fire at Mack’s Twin City Recycling.

This week, a 10 year old boy is in the hospital in critical condition because he was hit by bullets shot into his home.

Mack’s typically features a local charity each month, then customers who donate scrap metal have the opportunity to give the money they earn to said charity. One might think that Mack’s would put things on hold for a bit after experiencing a devastating fire.

However, they’ve just announced that they will be matching 100% of donations given through donating scrap metal to help the family of Decari Roberts. All of the donations will be given to the family to help with food, medical bills, and Christmas needs.

Indeed, there are good people out there.
