Pandamonium Doughnuts celebrated its tenth anniversary last week. Ten years! Can you believe it? The doughnut store started out as a vendor at Urbana’s Market at the Square in 2013; we mentioned one of their chocolate doughnuts in a Market Watch article. Then, in the spring of 2014, there was a multi-weekend doughnut pop-up in Urbana. I wrote two articles about those doughnuts. In the last decade, Pandamonium went from a vendor at the market to having a food truck and having a storefront (and keeping the truck). Now, instead of waiting in very long lines, you can order ahead of time and pick up your doughnuts.
We’ve covered Pandamonium quite a lot in the last decade, and for good reason. The doughnuts are great! They are fun and indulgent.
So happy birthday to Pandamonium, and congratulations to James Kyung and the rest of the team for waking up early to make the doughnuts we want to keep eating.
