Downtown Champaign’s Pour Bros. Craft Taproom is celebrating five years in C-U with a big party this Saturday, September 2nd — and everyone is welcome to attend. The pour-your-own beer bar will have live music performances by four different bands on the patio. At 2 p.m., there will be Tiki Talks with Nic.

Pour Bros. saved a few special beers for the celebration including Kilkenny nitro, brews by Urban Underdog, Triptych, and some pumpkin beers.

Saturday’s event will also debut a brand-new cocktail menu featuring classics like 217 Old Fashioned plus four beer-cocktails. New to the bar’s regular menu are four tiki drinks: a gin version, mezcal tiki, rum tiki, and a rye tai (rye take on a mai tai cocktail). Previously, Tiki drinks were only available at Tiki Talks events on Tuesdays, but they’ve been so successful that the owner wanted people to enjoy Pour Bros.’ tiki drinks anytime.

Pour Bros. first opened in 2018, and since then, the bar has hosted a plethora of events: music, music bingo, board game nights, trivia nights, pups and pints, barrel-aged beer celebration, a Malört cocktail competition, and a street festival.
