Multi-Grammy Award-winning musician Pat Metheny, a performer whose unpredictability and versatility have won him legions of fans worldwide, is coming to the Virginia Theatre next week, accompanied by Chris Fishman and Joe Dyson. Metheny’s performance at the Virginia Theatre is part of the Side-Eye tour, a series of concerts to celebrate the release of Pat Metheny Side-Eye – NYC. The performance will showcase a vibrant and energized new platform for Metheny, featuring new music along with unexpected and creative reworkings of some of his most classic songs.
The concert is presented by True Endeavors and the Champaign Park District. A portion of each ticket sale will benefit Hospice Hearts Animal Rescue, a volunteer-based animal rescue serving Central Illinois. This organization provides care for cats and dogs whose owners can no longer care for them due to illness, nursing home admission, or death. Come witness the virtuosic brilliance of Pat Metheny and contribute to a worthy cause as well.
