The Twitter account Midwest Modern has over 115,000 followers and posts images of interesting buildings, signs, storefronts, and art from all across the Midwest. A few weeks ago, the creator of Midwest Modern, Josh Lipnik, was in Central Illinois, and posted photos of iconic spots (and some hidden curiosities) in Champaign-Urbana as well as Danville and Decatur.

As the “building reviews guy,” I’ve followed Midwest Modern for quite a while now. I’m excited to see all the places in C-U that get featured there! If you’re on Twitter (I refuse to call it “X”), I highly recommend giving Midwest Modern a follow.
