Riggs is a great place to eat with kids

The other night I got a text from a friend that said, “I don’t feel like making dinner, want to meet us at Riggs?” I had actually never been there, so I said yes and hoped for the best. When we pulled up I felt like every parent there knew what I didn’t. Riggs Beer Company is a great place to eat dinner with your kids. This community focused brewery has an ever revolving selection of great food from local food trucks, live music, a wide selection of beer, and tons of outdoor seating options. There’s a play area for younger kids to climb and make new friends and yard games for bigger kids (and adults). The best part is that it’s all pretty contained because of the surrounding fields and a fence between the seating area and the parking lot. The night we went, Watson’s Chicken and Flour and Fire Pizza were the food truck options. Obviously we got both and our kids just ran back and forth between bites. By the end of the night, I had a delicious dinner, squeezed in some adult conversation, and my kids were exhausted. I call that a win.
