Snow Globe will be returning to the Orpheum in November

Halloween is over, so now it’s officially acceptable to start talking about the holiday season. I actually heard “Winter Wonderland” this morning on Sirius XM. And speaking of winter wonderlands…

Orpheum Children’s Science Museum will be reprising its popular Snow Globe, and it will be opening November 24th from 6 to 9 p.m., in conjunction with the Parade of Lights in Downtown Champaign.

From the Orpheum: “Parade attendees and the public are invited to join in the merriment of Snow Globe featuring indoor sledding, holiday games, crafts, treats and more! Bring your wish list for Santa and enjoy sounds of the season floating through the glittery air.”

Admission on opening night is $5 ($1 for income-eligible families) and free for members.

On December 1st, 8th, and 15th, the museum will have Snow Globe Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission for these is $3 for members, $8 for non-members, and $24 for a family of four. Discounts are available for income-eligible families.

The Snow Globe plus the parade are a lovely kick-off to your holidays, so be sure to go experience them.
