Coleson Whitehead was previously here in 2018 and this time he will be in conversation with CPL to talk about his latest book, “Crook Manifesto”. The book came out in July of this year and is the second in the Harlem Trilogy. Whitehead has won two Pulitzers in the Fiction category (one of only four people to do so) for two of his books “Underground Railroad” in 2017 and “The Nickel Boys” in 2020. He has won many prestigious awards including his most recent, awarded by President Biden this year, the National Endowment for the Humanities Medal.
