The 3rd annual Sing for the Health of It is happening this month

The Prairie Dragon Paddlers are a local dragon boat team comprised of breast cancer survivors. They practice on Homer Lake April through October and compete in dragon boat races throughout the summer.

Their annual fundraiser, a singing competition called Sing for the Health of It, is March 26th from 7 to 10 p.m. at The City Center. The money raised will fund research and outreach to survivors.

Tickets are available for $40 through the Prairie Dragon Paddlers website or from a team member. You can purchase a table for $400. There will be food, a cash bar, and the opportunity to vote for one of the ten finalists. If you want to get in on the action ahead of time, you can “vote” for the semi-finalists online now. Watch their videos then vote with your donations.
