If you’re looking for a way to burn some energy while learning something new, how about West African dance? After a hiatus, classes are happening at the Independent Media Center. Master dancer Djibril Camara leads the classes, accompanied by live drumming. No experience is necessary, and it’s open to all ages.

Classes are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Sundays. It’s $15 per class (cash only), and kids 13 and under can participate for free.

If you want to stay informed about upcoming classes and other opportunities, you can email Sam Chakravorty at [email protected] to be added to the email list.
