Yummy Future, the robot coffee shop of Campustown, will open a second Champaign location this summer. The new location will also be on Green Street in the spot that used to be Bombay Indian Grill, just a few blocks away near the corner of Fourth Street in between Sakanaya restaurant and Four Breakfast & More. The first Yummy Future opened in October 2022 on Green Street with Mozart, the robot barista.
Anticipated to open this August, the second location will offer the same menu of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate as the first. The robotic coffee shop is a startup created by Guangzhe Cui, U of I engineering alumnus.
