Opened originally in 1933, Champaign’s oldest bar Brass Rail is open once again in Downtown Champaign. Brass Rail closed earlier this year in March and reopened Saturday night under new ownership. The bar’s specialty drink The Squint (a mix of Squirt soda and gin) is still available, of course. Patrons can pay tabs with cash, but now the dive bar accepts credit card payment as well.
