Urbana Bike Project’s annual kids’ bike giveaway is December 16th

The Urbana Bike Project, with University of Illinois Campus Recreation’s Campus Bike Center, will hold the annual kids’ bike giveaway on Saturday, December 16th. Bikes are free; your kids will need to come along to claim a bike. Bikes will likely be sized for kids ages one to ten. The giveaway will be held in the south parking lot of the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center from 1 to 3 p.m.

You can donate any bike, in any condition, ahead of the event. Per organizers: “Donations are accepted at the Urbana Bike Project or at the Campus Bike Center. Please call (217) 469-5126 or email [email protected] to arrange a donation.”
