Cowboy Monkey is making a return to downtown, reigniting its legacy as a venue for live music enthusiasts. With its doors swinging open for a Grand Re-Opening weekend, the venue is set to entertain audiences with back-to-back performances. The celebration kicks off on Friday, March 29th, with Michael Guido Esteves’s 50th Birthday Jam, a gathering of talent from beloved local bands like 90’s Daughter, Curb Service, Brother Embassy, and featuring Candy Foster. The excitement continues into Saturday, March 30th, with New Souls and the special participation of Larry Gates. The festivities start at 8 p.m. on both nights for their official return to music, camaraderie, and celebration. The new Cowboy Monkey hopes to enhance the music scene in Champaign, and have announced their April lineup as well.
