Da Shark restaurant on Springfield Avenue has closed. The Champaign restaurant opened in October 2021 and served fried fish, chicken wings, gyros, and sides. In May 2022, Julie reviewed the fast food restaurant, and Remington included Da Shark’s fried tilapia sandwich in her list of five Champaign-Urbana fish sandwiches earlier this year.
I remember before Da Shark, it was the sister restaurant of Downtown Urbana’s Siam Terrace called My Thai, which closed in 2019.
